Home of the Fastest High School Crew Team in Washtenaw County

Winner of the 2008 Horton Cup

Welcome to the Saline High School Crew Team website! Here, you will find everything you need to know in relation to crew. The club was founded in 2003, and is a competitive rowing team that is composed of both female and male Saline High School students. We have two competitive rowing seasons: Fall and Spring.  The Fall season consists of longer races (like cross country) and the Spring is Sprint Season (like track). Most new rowers join in the Fall to get experience and learn to row and prepare for the head to head competition in the Spring.  The team is self-funded in part by the parents, the student-rowers themselves, external support, and multiple fund raisers, such as rent-a-rower. Although this is only a club team, the team rows against varsity teams of other High Schools and you can earn your Varsity Letter. The club does not have cuts, and no prior rowing experience or knowledge is expected. If you are interested in learning more about the team, feel free to contact the team.

It’s not too late to join Saline Crew for the Fall 2008 Season!

If you want to join the team, contact either Coach Fiske at fisked@saline.k12.mi.us for the men's team or Coach Sparks for the women's team.
